Maypole school will provide a range of therapeutic learning environments, that enables us to meet the needs of children with a wide range of unique complex needs. 

We want every single pupil to feel truly safe and secure, in spite of their previous bad experiences and difficulties. We will nurture every child to enable this. 

We want pupils to enjoy school, and attend strongly. 

We will provide high quality education, with a tailored programme for each individual that truly meets their needs, so that every pupil learns and progresses at the pace and level appropriate to them. 

To enable everything else, we will provide great training for our staff, and great career pathways for them.  

Lastly we believe in teamwork, and we will work very closely with families and external agencies as appropriate, according to each child’s needs.
