Our Vision
We are passionate about working with the most complex, disengaged and disadvantaged pupils.
We will provide the right pathway that will work for each individual pupil, to enable them to develop and grow socially and emotionally, enabling more academic progress than was possible at previous schools. We want our pupils to feel safe, wanted and valued, to enjoy their learning, and to believe in their ability to succeed. They will want to come to school at Maypole.
We also want our staff to love being part of the Maypole team, and to feel proud of their part in transforming the lives of our pupils.
"The fight (to get him to this school) was worth it. As his Mum, I'm so glad he is where he is today".

"He's a different child, after only his first term. I've seen such a change in him and I think it's the school that's doing it."

"One standout aspect of this new school is the support pupils receive on their journey to become confident and responsible members of society. For many pupils, this is a bigger challenge than academic achievement. Parents who talked to inspectors were particularly positive about how the school is transformational on peoples' lives in this respect."
