What Maypole Offers to staff
About Maypole
We are a growing school and we expect to be recruiting slowly but steadily, throughout the year. We will be seeking Teachers and Teaching Assistants (TAs) to join our team on an ongoing basis; and as we grow we are also likely to be seeking another Occupational Therapist and another Speech and Language Therapist.
We are a highly motivated team who are passionate about helping our pupils to succeed, in spite of other schools having been unable to do so. This isn’t the easiest job in the world, but if you’re right for us and you want to support pupils with complex needs, then it’s one of the most rewarding experiences.

"Maypole school has some of the best relationship building (between both staff and students) that I have seen across my career. It's a warm and welcoming environment and I have felt nothing but safe and supported, despite dealing with challenging behaviours ... I enjoy Maypole more than any other place I’ve worked, and do not see this changing."
